Terms of Use
These are the ground rules for using Grace and Prayer. We have tried to keep them short and clear. Please read them, especially the parts about what you may post.
Last updated: October 28, 2026
1. Agreeing to these terms
Grace and Prayer (the “app”), its website and its audio program are provided by Lindon Digital, in Bellevue, Washington, USA (“we” and “us”). By using the app or the website, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
2. Who may use the app
You must be at least 13 years old. The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
3. What the app is, and what it is not
Grace and Prayer is a place to write a prayer request, to pray for other people by tapping “Pray for you” or sending a heart, and to mark a prayer as answered with a short testimony. It also offers an audio program in Mandarin Chinese, new every Monday and Thursday.
It is not emergency services, and it is not professional care. Nothing in the app or the program is a substitute for medical, mental-health, legal or financial help. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact someone right away:
- United States: call or text 988. In immediate danger, call 911.
- Taiwan: 1995, 1980 or 1925. In immediate danger, call 110 or 119.
- Elsewhere: find a local helpline at findahelpline.com, or call your local emergency number.
4. No account, and your anonymous ID
You do not sign up. The app creates a random anonymous ID on your phone, which is how it keeps track of your prayers and hearts. If you delete the app or change phones, your history cannot be recovered. You can delete your data at any time from the Me tab, using “Delete my data”.
5. What you may post
Be kind and keep it honest. When you post a prayer or a testimony, you agree that it:
- is your own, written by you, and not copied from someone else or posted for another person without their wish;
- contains no contact details of any kind: no phone numbers, email addresses, links, social media accounts or street addresses, however they are written;
- uses only letters, Chinese characters, the digits 0 to 9 and ordinary punctuation. Circled or full-width numbers, emoji and special symbols are not allowed;
- is not advertising, fundraising, a request for money, or a way of looking for dates or romance;
- is not hateful, harassing, sexual or violent, and does not promote or encourage self-harm;
- does not pretend to be another person or organization; and
- does not break the law or anyone’s rights.
Comments are not allowed in the app. Prayers are shown exactly as written and are not translated.
6. Objectionable content: zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for abusive, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or otherwise objectionable content, and for users who post it. Here is how we keep the app safe:
- Every new prayer and every testimony is read by a person before it becomes public. This can take up to about a day.
- Automatic checks block contact details, including when they are written with words, in other scripts or with emoji.
- To report a prayer, use the Report option on that prayer in the app. A prayer reported by two people is hidden automatically until we review it. We aim to act on reports within 24 hours.
- To block an author, use the Block option on one of their prayers. Their prayers are hidden from you immediately.
- We remove content that breaks these terms, and we ban repeat offenders.
You can also email support@lindondigital.com about any concern.
7. Your content, and the permission you give us
What you write stays yours. By sending a prayer or testimony, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store it, to show it inside the app to other users in the way you chose, and to keep and review it for moderation. We do not use your content for advertising and we do not sell it. This permission ends when you delete your data, except that routine backups may hold a copy for up to 30 days before they expire.
8. Removing content and users
We may reject or remove any prayer, testimony or user that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe could harm others, with or without notice. We may ban people who repeatedly break the rules. Because the app has no accounts, a ban applies to the anonymous ID and may not be possible to enforce if someone installs the app again.
9. No promise of answers or outcomes
People use this app to support one another in faith. We make no promise, and nothing in the app or the program should be read as a promise, about any result: not about healing, not about circumstances, and not about how many people will pray for you. The number of prayers and hearts on a post is not a measure of anything.
10. The audio program and its AI-generated voice
The program “恩典時光|神與我們同在” is spoken in a voice that is generated by artificial intelligence. It is not a recording of a real person speaking. The program shares a Christian perspective and is offered for encouragement only, not as professional advice.
11. Cost
The app is free. It has no ads and no in-app purchases.
12. No warranty
We do our best, but the app, the website and the program are provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises of any kind. We do not guarantee that they will always work, be free of errors, or be available without interruption, or that any prayer will be approved or seen. Prayers and testimonies are written by other users, and we are not responsible for what they say, even though we review them.
13. Limit of our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app. Our total responsibility to you for any claim connected with the app is limited to the direct damages you actually suffer. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit, and some places do not allow certain limits, so part of this section may not apply to you.
14. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no duty to provide support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the app after a change, you agree to the new terms.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. If the consumer-protection laws where you live give you rights that cannot be waived, those rights stay in place.
