Prayer app · Twice-weekly podcast

You don’t have to
carry it alone.

Some burdens are hard to share with the people closest to you. Here you can write yours down without your name and bring it to God. No advice, no comments, only prayer.

Why we started

The invitation we found in the Bible

Everything here grew out of these few lines of Scripture.

01

That sense there must be something more

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts.”

Ecclesiastes 3:11, World English Bible (WEB)

The more we learn about how finely this world is put together, the more natural it is to wonder where it came from. That question deserves to be taken seriously, so on the podcast we take one question at a time.

02

When you’re tired, come and rest

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28, King James Version (KJV)

Jesus’ invitation isn’t a test to pass. It’s more like a chair pulled out for you. You don’t have to get ready first; you can come just as tired as you are.

03

Love starts with being loved

“Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

1 John 4:10, King James Version (KJV)

Faith doesn’t begin with us being good enough. It begins with God coming toward us first. If we get one thing across, we hope it’s this.

04

So we pray for one another

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.”

James 5:16, King James Version (KJV)

That’s why we made the app. You can bring what’s on your heart to God and invite others to pray with you, and you can pray for someone else and send them a little love.

Health

My mom has a heart catheter procedure next Tuesday. She is scared, and she keeps saying she doesn’t want to be a burden. Please pray for her doctors and nurses, and for peace in her heart so she can sleep these next few nights.

Work

My company announced layoffs this month. I’m 56 and honestly don’t know if I’ll find another job, and we still have years left on the mortgage. Please pray that fear won’t run my days, and that I can take this one step at a time.

Answered prayer

Last month I asked for prayer while we waited on my dad’s biopsy. It came back benign. Thank you to everyone who prayed with us. In those weeks I really did feel I wasn’t carrying it alone.
